Hella replacement lamps

    1973 maverick grabber, 1972 v-8 grabber & 1971 Maverick six 3 on column, 70 Mustang 302 Convertable, 1996 f-150, 1992 Taurus L
    Anyone out there up fit a Maverick / Comet with Hella 7 inch replacement headlamps? If so, could you please advise if these replacement lamps use the same factory mounting rings to hold them in place and if any modification are needed to headlamp wire harness pigtail or Alternator output

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    yes you can. it will use the factory mounting infact its about the only aftermarket one that fits right. and actually does improve light diffusion. the H4 bulb that it uses will work with the stock harness no mods needed. i have them in all 3 of my mavericks

    '70 Maverick Grabber
    I have something different than Hella, some tri-bars I bought off eBay. Had to make the hole in the rear of the mounting bucket larger to accomdate the larger bulb housing. Only took a couple minutes with a sabre saw. Wish I had known about the Hellas, though.

    I have the Hella lamps in my car, I'm very happy with them. There were no mods required to the car, they plugged right in.
