Hello I was just reading then new Car Craft, and saw what I think is one of the best looking Maverick's I have ever seen. Upon doing a search I found that the owner is a member of this site, for which I would like to say, "Great looking car". Actually, my first car was a 71 Comet GT with a anemic 250 6 cyl. I ended up building my first performance engine a real Boss 302 with 2x4 tunnel ram {I really wanted the Gapp Roush single plane intake, but it was/is a rare item}. Anyway, I bought a 9" rear end from a 57 Ranchero and rebuilt the stock C4. Also changed the front 4 lug brakes to those from a 71 Torino. Here is an old pic I found of the car.
