Just joined the forum, and wanted to say hey...I've had my '70 mav for the last 15 years now. It was my first car and is still my baby. It is currently in storage, awaiting some more modifications. I've started by swapping out the rear end for a 9" with 5-lug bolt pattern and installing front disc brakes (also with 5-lug). In 1997 I had the body all redone and painted, but it was by a friend of my father's, who didn't do a complete job with paint and primer. Unfortunately, he barely got any paint and primer on the lowest part of the car, and it has started rusting. So, I'll have to rework the body again...but that's part of the fun, right?!!!
