Although I have been signed up since Feb, I just made my first post so guess it is time to check in.

I live just off of I-40 about 30 miles East of Albuquerque. I had a bunch of Mustangs and a very nice 73 Grabber 302 back when they were new, Crane fireball cam, headers, Alum intake and 4V Holley, quite a cheap but effective hotrod, always regretted selling it. I payed my way through college spinning wrenches and running a Boss 302 drag car and 289 dirt car in the midwest, back in the 70's...then went to work and lost interest in cars. Just recently got interested in cars again, so lots of catch up. I work in Civil Engineering, and am a ham radio guy, started rebuilding vintage farm tractors, and somehow ended up with a Maverick again. Straight 1970 body, I have 4 or five 302's, 5.0 roller motors and a couple of 5.8's, GT-40 and GT40P heads, HO cams, new springs and retainers, 1.7 roller rockers, long tube headers, Holley carbs, couple alum. intakes, bunch of C-4's and a couple of 57 wagon 9" rears, one with 4:11 gears, and V-8 conversion stuff. So I have most of the parts for a slightly warmed up stock small block. Just need time...
That's my story, I have learned a lot by reading here, thanks for all the information and advice.
    Sincerely, Farmall
