lol im not really a new member just havnt logged in for about 4 years. due to my recent unemployment ive had alot of free time on my hands so i dusted off the ol mav, rebuilt the carb and its now my daily driver... again.. Yesturday i decided to put californias money to good use and am using my unemployment checks to fund my maverick rebuild! Picked up a 300i6 out of an 84 bronco yesturday and have been tearing it apart for a rebuild... anyone have any tips or shoe horning a 300i6 into a mav?

    thanks guys,
    Dave

Won't be easy but has been done. Better plan on hood clearance too. You'd be a lot better off with a 302, direct bolt in and parts readily available. Just a thought.
Do a search on 300 6 cyl. You should find a few threads on them.

Welcome back to the board. Sorry about the unemployment. Keep us informed about the engine swap. (y)
