Help on taking rear seat off of 74 comet

    Hello Guys,

    I
    m trying to take out the rear seat of a 1974 Comet 2 door, but I hanen't been able to do it... I don't see any screws or anything even looking trough the trunk... any hints??

    The bottom part of the seat must be removed first. It is a unique experience the first time you remove one. After you do it once it is easy.

    You have to push down and while holding down you push the whole seat towards the back of the car to release it from the catch. Then you can left up and remove it. The upper part of the rear seat is held in with 2 bolts that you will see after you remove the bottom.

    Sometimes it helps to bump the front of the seat cushion while holding down on it from the top, if it has never been out before they tend to stick to the mounting brackets....
