I want to get rid of the smoog pump.
Can I just take it off and plug the hoses?
The one on the car works.but it looks like crap, its in the way and it would look so much cleaner under the hood with out it.
    Its on a 200/6 auto.
    Thanks for any help.

not legally. i dont know if you have emission testing or not. if you do then dont remove it.

it can be removed. you just need to make sure the belt change is compensated for. plug off the air injection ports on the manifold.

    Thanks.
No emissions test for a car that old here.
I thought that was all I had to do...but thought I'd ask.
    Thanks again.
