Well my second car (on the road) was a 70 Maverick, at that time it was only 4 years old, back in Michigan, it had quarter panels made of bondo and welded up shock towers to repair damage from washboard dirt roads travelled to fast by its first owner, but it was mine complete with thrush muffler and shackles to jack the back end up! Ah those High school cars... Anyway I owned another in the late 70s in Houston, got rear ended in it. and recently picked up a "one owner" 70 again. 200 6. It has METAL qaraters and just a little tiny rust hole in the hood, not bad for this vintage ford! someone added a "spark o matic" floor shifter (remember those? JC Whitney special!). Anyway I may not get around here often, but will drop in from time to time. I am a multi brand car guy not died in the wool for any brand in particular.
