whats up fellas? been a long ass time since ive been on here since selling the legend..

hey, Russ, hows the old girl treating ya? a couple weeks ago i drove by the place that i last saw it and it was gone, so i suspect you got it hauled..

well with my money i got a car with 100 times more power and 30 mpg.. a 1990 Plymouth laser rs turbo.. its treating me real well while im still in highschool..

so you may be wondering if ill ever get another maverick and the answer is probably yes.. when i turn 18, im getting some 40K from a car accident i was in when i was in 4th grade.. i just might sell this car and buy a V8 mav and start fixing her up..

since then ive been on other forums and this one is still the nicest by far.. so good luck to all you guys with your mavs..

Laser's are quick cars but beware the turbos tend to go out fairly easy. good luck and hope to see you in another mav :)

    Here? Not "here" here ;).
Once a Maverick, always a Maverick :tiphat:. Good idea about finishing school too. Once you do, you can celebrate in a Mav, it's a wonderful feeling :).

I'd take the 40k and put it towards a house or something.. Then once you are through with school, settled and doing good with a decent job, then think about getting another Maverick.

    Hey Michael,

The Mav finally got here, the driver said it was the worst trip he'd ever made. He had 2 breakdowns and 4 "snowbounds" for 6 days total of lost time. I've already sold the engine and wheels, got the front end stripped off and the RCM front clip mostly installed. Got a 9" housing ready to narrow and a 3.50 locker ready to build. I'm pretty sure it'll be back on the ground and rolling in 2 weeks or so. Once I get the motor mounts built, it'll be off to (my bud) Ray's for paint.

    Later!

    Russ
