    1972 4 door Maverick
I am looking forward to getting tons of help from the car enthusiasts on this forum. I am going to be aqcuiring a 1972 4 door Maverick. This car was my Grandma's and she bought it brand new. My dad has it now but the Mav needs some love and he cannot afford the work it needs. I will be picking it up with a truck and car trailer here in a few weeks. I am stoked to get it to my place but I am not quite sure where to start. The engine is a 250ci and the all stock car has about 200k miles on it. The water pump is shot and the radiator could use replacement as well as the brakes and bushings all around. Thanks for welcoming me to the forum. I am curious on what can be done with the 250ci engine and if anyone else has modified a 4 door. I mostly see the 2 door's fixed up.

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Welcome! It's really cool to see more Cali people pop up here. If you look up the Tijuana Taxi you'll find probably the most famous Maverick ever, and yes it's a 4 door!

:Welcome: I think 4 doors can be made to look Cool, if I could afford another one I'd get a red one put Comet GT stripes down the side, blackout the tail panel, have the hood painted like a 74 or 75 Grabber hood, bucket seats, aluminum wheels, dual exhaust and I'm set. In your case I'd go with that bright plastic green color it'd be Cool
