    Well i have never seen a maverick in my town but i dont see them going for that much..:huh:

    Had some guy offer me $1,000 for my '72 daily beater once. The car is probably worth about $700 or so I'd say, as a parts car.

    Because i wanna know the highest people have been offered because i dont see them go for that much but everyone on here has badass mavericks not just little part cars

    I was asked what it would take to buy my car, and I said somewhere north of 25, I got a call and my bank manager saying, she was prepared to transfer 27, into my account. But I changed my mind (I left the zeros off)

    Don't know what people are being offered but I just paid 4800.00 for a 65k one owner Comet 2dr with LDO package 302 c4 p/s a/c and that I thought was top dollar for the car.

    i paid $2500 for mine needs some work to make it perfect but had no rust original motor 73 55,000 miles

    It's not too high, but you have to factor in the cheapness of 80% of the Maverick/Comet owners out there, it's the aged old discussion, and we've beat it to death. The majority of people on here stumbled into their Mavericks/Comets, they did not buy them to restore them, they bought them to drive them as everyday cars, winter beaters, parts cars, etc....Hell most of the real serious guys don't even come on this board.

    WOW did'nt know that thought all you guys were the cream of the crop. I just got into the mav's /comets and I got to say there is a huge swing in the crowd from killer over the top to beat down beaters or worse!!!!!
