I have a small pin hole in my radiator at the top in the seam, I was wondering what would happen if I drive it daily, for about a week until I have money to replace it? (Daily meaning to me at least 15 miles a day.)
It won't do much of anything as long as you are not overheating. Just make sure your fluid level is kept up. A radiator shop might be able to re-solder the seam instead of replacing the radiator. Try to keep the fluid off of the paint, just rinse it with some water.
mine had a hole in the same spot and i just soldered it with those $17 kits you can buy at Home Depot.
That seam in the top tank is infamous for cracking. You can solder it (like I did) but it just keeps ripping. I had to take a piece of brass sheet and form it over the seam and solder it in place to stop the leak. Then I replaced it with a three row radiator for better cooling.
