how do you take the windshield and light fixtures off the dash when removing a dash

    the light and windshield wiper fixtures need to go, how do i get them out

    The light switch just requires some dextarity. There is a small button on the switch behind the dash that when pushed properly, the knob and shaft will pull out. then take off the nut on the outside of the dash. that loosens the switch. unplug it
    It may be easier to take out the instrument cluster and heater controls first. good luck. I don't remember how the wiper switych comes out. sorry

    The little round button thing ( in front of Gene's thumb) is what releases the knob and shaft

    see i did not know that

    i just popped the knob off then you turn the lil thing at the base of the switch it has 2 little notches in it that i put a flat head screwdriver into and made it turn to the left to unscrew it ??
