how to mount msd blaster 2 coil

    im having problems finding out where to mount this i had another msd blaster 2 coil on there with a rigged mount and now i bought a mount from msd and i cant figure out where to mount it... if anyone has any idea on how to mouth this thing please let me know but here are some links to show u what im dealing with...

    And this is the mount that is suggested with the coil

    also if anyone has any knowledge of this coil please let me know im having trouble getting spark to the dual point distributor

    they are typically mounted on the intake manifold.. i had one mounted on the shock tower and it worked fine.. less vibration there as well

    FMS-M-12044-A2 number in Summit is what makes intake mounting easier. A stock bracket should work as well. You may mount coil anywhere you like. just remember you have to wire all to fit it. The cooler you keep a coil the better for it. Inner fender towards rad support is a good place, it's all up to you on mounting

    Not sure if you have the TFI coil or the old can style coil, but I have the TFI and this is how I mounted mine. Just a couple of long screws with some nuts. Obviously dosen't look pretty, but my car isn't a show car. Been like that for about a year and a half now on my '72 that is driven nearly every day with no problems.
