I need to replace the air shocks in the rear of my 70. I like the look of the ass up in the air how can I achieve the same look using standard shocks?? Would traction bars bring it up??? I am confused and tired tonight been welding all day in the sun then had to come into work can't think now...
Add a leaf or 2 to yours thats how I do all mine ,they keep a pretty decent ride but you get the lift you want. I just did my driver 4dr and put 275/60-15s on 8.5 rims on the back
been doing that for years with my son's hair and ears..... I never get the hair cut I get his ears lowered, actually much cheaper and doesn't have to be done as often
place a jack under the rear axle, and move the jack handle up and down until you have the desired height... hahaha sorry... but someone did that to me once.. so its time to initiate someone else
your car probably just has a saggy azz after 37 years, i bet even stock replacment leaf springs would give you what your looking for
unbolt the rearend and bolt it back on to the bottom of the leaf springs instead of the top.... LOL actually not LOL it could be done but it's not the right way to do what you want to do
I looked under her today and she has the original 3 leaf spring set I will upgrade to the 4 as soon as the funds allow..Can leafs be found in a junk yard or should I just look at new aftermarket?? What vehicles can they come off of that will work???
