how to remove stainless dash trim?

    can anyone tell me how to safly remove the lower dash trim that looks to be stainless ,I want to repaint the dash

    Use something really thin like a putty knife under one corner and twist it and it will pop the clip out of the hole, then slide the tool until you get to next clip. They come out really easy, might want to put some tape on tool to protect from scratches

    I used a butter knife to pry up on mine
