Well, I'm back! :yahoo:Though the Comet I had lurking around here when I was with RRS is, sadly, gone (I tried to get the car back from RRS but no dice). Now it sits in the back of a shop in Missouri waisting away. BUT! I have my pea-eye on one here in Aiken--just don't tell the missus. ;)

Now on to other things. I am now the editor of Legendary Ford Magazine. If you are a subscriber you may be wondering where your hard copy subscription is. Sadly the economy ate it. BUT we are still around. Now we'll be an on-line only pub that is going to have a few nice things with it:

Legendary Ford Magazine is about to launch it’s webzine and Ford club for the Ford faithful, and right now, we’re giving you a sneak peak at the magazine portion: http://www.legendaryfordmagazine.com/subscribers . The webzine that you get with your club membership will have all the content that we use to put into our topflight Ford paper book at a cheaper price of $16.95 a year—no matter where you are in the world. Here is what you’ll get with the online bling:

    • Additional web only content. We didn’t have enough pages in the print mag for all the rippin’ cool stuff we find in the Ford world so we'll put it out there on the web. We’ll have stories as far flung as how to by a CVPI (that’s Crown Vic Police Interceptor to you who are not yet CVPI geeks) to rarified Concours De Elegance events.

    • Articles that are downloadable .pdf files (we’ll eve provide a link to Adobe to get the free reader): We do this so you can print the tech article and take the tech article with you to the garage; or the feature to the john—what you do with it there is your business. Either way we give you the freedom to move away from the keyboard!

    • All our tech articles are done by guys like you. We make the mistakes (sometimes) and teach you what to do to avoid them! And, while we love Mustangs and do a good deal of tech on them we also focus on other Fords with stories on options and tech that will help you make the best Ford you can!

    • Ability to pay with Pay Pal, Credit Card, or Check—no livestock or cars please—well we would take a car as long as it is a Ford—and cool—and in the USA.

    • Same $16.95 (U.S.) price no matter what country you are in!

Weekly updates! The magazine will be updated weekly, with web only and magazine content—all downloadable to your computer.

    What about this club?
Member only forums to ask questions, bicker about options and talk to the editors! That’s right once a month we’ll be on the web in our shout box to answer questions and gab with the readers. Don’t know what a shout box is? Sign up and find out.

Here are some ideas we’ve got cooking that may be a part of the club scene:
Weekly random acts of giving! We’ll be giving away t-shirts, hats and other trinkets each week to one lucky member.

Quarterly Big Honkin’ Prizes! We’ll also be giving away bigger prizes each quarter from big dollar amount gift certificates to tools and car care supplies.

    Plus more stuff!
That's all for now, if you have any questions feel free to e-mail me at:
    jford@legendaryfordmagazine.com

Welcome back Jeff! I hate that about the magazine but I do understand. I will be keeping my subscription as I feel it's still one of the better mags out there. Gonna be interesting to see how it works out. Good luck! :Handshake

Hi, Jeff! I down loaded and printed the magazine. Maybe as a door prize you should give away ink cartriges and paper LOL (i already suggested this to Dianne). I do enjoy sitting on the couch and relaxing to read the magazine instead of sitting at the computer. However I will do what ever has to be done to continue to receive and read your Excellent publication. Please keep it coming to us anyway you have to.

Welcome back, Jeff! Sorry to hear about the magazine AND the Comet GT. I wondered what had happened to that car. I met you briefly at the Mustang show
back in July in Raleigh, but I didn't have an opportunity to identify myself as an
MCCI member. You guys were talking Hi-Po's and CJ's.
I did ask Steve Fitzpatrick to give you some pics on a disc of some cars that I photographed. If that rings a bell, drop me a line.

Welcome back Jeff, I really am sorry to see the hard copy go away I think it will be a very tough sell online only. The mag was the top of the line and many old timers won't make the change. By the way I am Brian @ Murphy's Automotive with the KILLER 64 Fairlane with all the RRS stuff that I completely modified to suit my steet legal 9 sec car. And doing a 72 Comet GT now. So if your need article cars that are HIGH end let me know good to see you back out here take care!!!!

Thanks guys, I'm glad for the support. We hope to be back to printing as well as the internet by mid-next year.

We have some stories for the Maverick and Comet coming just wait on the parts to become available.

Welcome back Jeff. On;y problem I see is that there is going to be a gap in my magazine collection when you start printing again. I have every issue since the beginning. :)
