Just joined the site even though I have owned my Mav for close to 10 years. It was a real "little old ladies" car. It belonged to my Grandmother and she bought it new in '71 and drove the wheels off of it. It is mine now and it has just been sitting in the garage until now. It is to become a quarter mile car. I will post pics and updates as things develop. Well...I guess thats it for now. On a side note I used to live in Maryland and had a good friend who had a copper colored Maverick. If you happen to be out there give me a shout. We worked at Trak Auto together and he let me use his rear mags to get back down here to Texas. That ought to be enough info.
Welcome to the site. Texas is slowly beginning to represent! (don't worry GA Gang, you're still way ahead I'm sure)
I was in Laurel, Mavaholic. I'm sure you know where that is since it is a pretty small state. I spent some time on the Eastern shore where that friend of mine and his parents had a small store. I moved there in I think '92 I just remember it was the year of the worst snow fall in a long time up there. I didn't have antifreeze in my '67 Mustang and it popped 2 freeze plugs out.
