hurst 3 speed shifter

    I am looking into a new shifter for a 3 speed toploader in a 74 comet. The Hurst SSA universal shifter looks like my best choice right now. does anybody have any experience with one or maybe know of something better?

    Hurst is about as good as you'll find for a 3 speed manual. If you get it, also order the steel shifter bushings for it. Same bushings fit the 4 speed shifter too. They last forever where the nylon bushings don't.
