Hey guys, JUST picked it up...bought from a guy that lives about 70 miles from here..drove it home, through mountains and all...It did great..Sorry there are no pics yet, but as I said I am waiting for my camera to come in...Already started getting questions about it on the way home...I am so glad that you guys are here, because I dont think that most of my friends are gonna appreciate my find...I am happier now than when I got my first NEW car!!! Thank you guys for sharing my excitement...oh and the guy gave me a gas cap(with the mav symbol on it) said he found it when his son had the mav, but didnt give it to him because he didnt think he would treasure the find...wasnt that great of him to give it to me? Oh, and he gave me an Autokrafer catalog, a brand new replacement window handle(one of the old ones was missing the knob) the original bill of sale and owners manual, he is just a great guy! Got a car and a friend out of the deal....

Congrats Xtasea, you've become a great addition to our Maverick family and it's a pleasure to read the excitement in each of your posts. I'm excited for you and hope you'll get as many enjoyable years out of your Maverick as I have mine. I am looking forward to seeing the pics of your car. Hopefully we'll get to see you at a Round-Up one day.
