I replaced the carb and it still had some weird running problems. I remembered that a few years ago I purchased several new yellow groment t ignition modules and a Old Ford Tech tole me than the yellow groment were universal application. When I checked one of the three leads had the same color wires as my Mav, so I plugged it in and the Mav fired right up. It had been sitting for a week which was a no start condition prior to the replacement.

Now it starts when I want it to start and yesterday I took it on a 22 mile trip and it kept running. The module I removed was a 1975 Module and the Ford dealer would not warranty it for me. No sense of humor.

As soon as I get the A/C going it will be driveable.

I have a FREE glove box door in primer and two black front seat belt buckles.

I purchased some chrome strips and they came without mount clips and I had to purchased a $25 box of clips to install the chrome. They worked after some mod work. I will take some picts soon and if anyone needs some I will make a very fair price on them.

What trim are the clips for? I'm taking mine off to paint and will probably ruin some of them taking them off. Mine is the small, thin bodyside chrome with the thin vinyl strip down the middle, not the wide LDO style.

    Clips

Mine ae the small strips with the vinly inserts. A slight mod is required. The only ones I could find were not for Mavrick but i made them fit quite nicely.

WARNING: when you order the strips ask the sekker if they come with the clips. I got clipped on my deal.

The clips sre very hard to find. We have an upholstry supply store in Ft. Worth that had some but they would only sell them in a $25.99 box, which made my two pieces of chrome quite expensive'
