Just when I got the 924 Mav running and looking good I am itching for more power. I got the bug. Does this motor look like a good deal? What do I need to look for in a 302 for the conversion.

Save some money, and get yourself a 5.0L mustang engine.

to be honest i wouldn't buy it for 250. the engine looks like it's seen better days. you're going to have to rebuild it anyway and if anythings wrong with the electronics you're not going to know what is bad. also the headers are for a truck and probably won't fit your maverick. another thing is the oil pan is a rear sump. you'll have to change that and the oil pump to a front sump. JMO:)

How much $ are we talking about? Where would you suggest I begin to look?
