So my 76 maverick was my great grandmother's and when she died it went to me! how exciting for a 16 year old kid who had no idea what a Maverick even was lol....so after driving it for 3 years I finally ran into someone interested in getting rid of theirs. They said they had a 70 that had been sitting in their garage for the longest time. They were even the original owners so I met with them at their house and checked it out. To my surprise it wasn't in that bad of shape. It had the usual Maverick rust spots but nothing that I couldn't fix with a little help from my gramps. I asked the lady how much she would sell it for and my mouth dropped open. She said 500 bucks so I talked her down to 375! And it has 79 thousand actual miles on it! What a bargain. Now I might end up selling my 76 if anyone is interested. It has about 99 thousand on it right now.

Congratulations. Is it a 70 or a 69 1/2? They are all listed as 70's but the 69.5 has the key in the dash and the 70 has the key in the steering column.:Welcome:
