all the shocks and springs i have found either they are stock height or lowering. i need to to be about 2" or 3" my tire is getting cut by my rear quarter panel's top. i have 15 225 8.5 then 9 in the back. And if i upgrade to a mustangII front end will i need to but front shocks for a mustang or a maverick?

lay one of the wheels face down, put a straight edge across the rim (not the tire), measure down from the straight edge to the mounting surface of the wheel...(where the rim meets the brake drum).

oh alright. just curious how did you like the pictures of my maverick. i got it for $3000. everything is how it was when i bought it in june besides audio. i even got the extra fenders to replace the front ones that are dented and a heavy fiberglass grabber hood but i am not going to put non of it on until i fix the performance part and have money for a paint job. Also i have the orginal block that it came with.

Hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like your tires are sticking out past the wheel well a good 2-3 inches. You would have to have the rear dang near solid mounted or jacked sky high to keep from rubbing the tires like that. It would be safer and cheaper to just get a set of wheels with the proper backspace so that the tires don't stick out like that.....

For the back wheels ,you could try getting your fenders rolled. that may stop the rubbing problem.

On my car I raised the back end by adding two leaf springs on both sides, I used Monrow Reflex shocks, they are longer and bigger than the stock shocks.
They told me they are ford Ranger shocks.

Rasing the car gave me more of an aggressive rake, I don't really know what it does for the handling of the car. I like the stance that it gives.

The back end is rigid and there is no rub. even when I have all the family in it.

Just looking at the pic of the rear tire and the spring tells me the rim is the problem here. You have more space between the tire and the rear spring than I think I have ever seen on a Mav.

I am running 265/50/15s and mine will very lightly rub the inner wheelhouse (above the spring) if the car goes up an angled driveway. Not even close to the outer part of the wheelwell.
