I was thinking. If anybody else was interested in accepting donations(Maybe Craig could do this???? I'm not good with money) For Ray who lost alot in the BIG storm. I'm not Rich but was thinking how bad he must feel right now. I am Tossing the first $50.00 in the pot. If I had more I would give more. Ray is an outstanding guy and a real mavericker. I am sure he can handle it on his own but a little help every now and then is a good thing. Not to mention just to show him how much I/we respect him and his family and all he has done for this wonderful hobby. What do you guys think???

20 views and no one else responds to something like this? Come on guys. I don't have 50 bucks to my name right now, but I'd toss in 10 or 20.

Talking to Craig on this. He mentioned the MCCI leaders were engaged in a discussion concerning this very topic but not only for Ray but the other members that live in the devastated areas. I really feel lucky to have all that I have after seeing the footage of this kinda tragedy. I don't have the words.....for once I am speechless and that's saying something.

Remember it's not the amount that's important it's that you cared enough to help.(y)

1badmav How Are You Going To Organize This? Are You Going To Be The Collector Of The Money? If So Go Ahead And Make It Official And Get The Word Out, Maybe Everyone Doesn't Have 50 But Anything Will Help, I'll Help Out All That I Can Just Let Us Know Where And When....maybe Make A Big Donation In The Name Of Mcci? I Think It's A Good Idea That We Help How Ever We Can, Good Idea

I had PMd Craig yesterday, and he said they were working put something together and that information would be forthcoming. I think it's great that there is this kind of support here on the board for something like this. (y) As previously mentioned, for those of us that haven't been directly impacted by this catastrophe, we have a lot to be thankful for, and it would be nice to reach out and help those who need it the most.

From what I understand the bottom level of his house got flooded. His Grabbers (includeing the blue one) got flooded also, water above the roof of the cars.

Ray is definately a good guy. I met him back at Fun Ford Weekend in Commerce and got to check out his blue Grabber in person. He stayed at a Motel less then a mile down the street from my house with his blue Grabber in tow. We need to help him and any other Mav/Comet guys over there out as much as possible.

Wayne; talked to Shawn Simpson, prez of the MCCI, and he and the board are working on doing something, with the club. I also think that the board members and participants here might be able to do something. I talked to Tim (myCometGT) Wilmoth, and he wants to help out also. I will be out of town on Sat. but back on Sunday. We should talk, and get together and see what we can do. Take care,

Yes I think at this juncture it should be a group effort. What ever the MCCI decides on this issue I will follow suit. After listening to a few wiser opinions on the subject it just makes more sense to do what I believe the MCCI is gonna propose but I will leave that to them............:)

The only thing that I would add would be that not only MCCI members would be helped or shown this care. This is a prime opportunity to show that we care as a community of mav/com people and that particpants of this and the other board are thought of and cared about. Count me in, Ward

Perfectly understanable fan2488, and it is good to know that some have families that can do this.
