What brake pads are you using (brand / semi-metallic or ceramic) and how do they stop?

Ceramics squealed like crazy on me. Search for it. There is a long thread where i fought them with various fixes and finally gave up after a year and threw them away. Lifetime warranty be DAMNED!!!

Went back to semi-metallic and no more noise.

agreed, rotors have to be designed to use ceramic pads. I run semi-metallic on all our vehicles. I tried to run soft carbon/organic(?) pads on my Mustang once, since its only a track car. bad idea, they stunk. went back to semi-metallic.

my Comet's disc brakes use ceramic pads, since my brakes are off of a 2005-10 Mustang GT. they came factory with ceramic pads.
