    Hey all, i'm changing out my ignition to match the key to my door locks on my 71. Need to know where to start and what to take aprt before I get started.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    You need the column key in order to remove the ignition. Might be able to do it without a key...not sure....but a key makes it easier.
