When I bought the 72 Maverick I didn't notice at the time that the previous owner cut all the wiring to the front of the car.. I have rewired everything, and everything works except the turn signals.. Turn on either signal and the light comes on but does not flash. Turn on the headlights and neither come on, but both turn signal lights on the dash.. I'm sure I have a wire crossed somewhere, but can't find it.. I have replaced the turn signal switch and the flasher.. Any ideas.. Please before I put my head through the wall ..
If you have a thermal flasher and it doesn't work it's because not enough current is being drawn by the lamps. A bad ground can do that.
