I am currently building a 302 for my comet. So far the highlights are long 289 rods, big valve ported and polished '65 289 heads(54.5cc) boss rockers and fulcrums, and roller cam. I'm shooting for about 9.5:1 compression. Late mustang fuel injection will top it off. However I still need Injectors, both harnesses, a computer, and all sensors. Mustang valve covers would be nice too. If anyone has these parts in good condition, let me know. It sure is going to be great living up to my username!
I have a buddy who just had his 1991 LX Notchback 5.0 totalled. The engine and transmission both came out fine, if he's interested in selling any of that stuff, I'll give you a heads up.
