This is Richard's(FMSprint72) son. Sorry we have been way from doing anything with the mavericks we got, we haven't really been able to get around to them. We are now working on my maverick slowly because i will be living on campis or near campus when i got to college and i need a car, so i want my maverick. I will post pictures soon of what we are doing. The most recent things with them: Our dad took the vinyl top off his maverick (the sprint) it is painted, at the moment, with red primer. that is about all that has been done to his. Mine on the other hand: we just took a trip to Iowa, we got all four doors, a truck lid, the back headboard behind the back seat, a grille, seats, we got 2 fenders, miscellaneous interior parts, a heater core, steering column, a parking brake cable(mine's stiff). Well now that I have all i can think of said about it; I am looking for a 302 to put into my 76 Four Door but i just can't seem to find one anywhere on the Internet, even craigslist. Please help me with this, if anyone near us has one you are willing to sell please let us know, and my dad is also looking for a 289 to put in the sprint. Pl ease contact us for any info or tips you may have! Thanks!:thumbs2:

Tell me you are kidding, right?

Have you checked various, local motor rebuild shops, machine shops, or salvage yards?
