JC Whitney is selling "Titanium Performance Brake Pad" sets for $4.37 with free shipping. Has anyone used them or heard of them? There were only two reviews but both were 5 out of 5. http://www.jcwhitney.com/titanium-performance-brake-pad-sets/p2008450.jcwx
brakes are something i would not go cheap on. to have them fail could mean the worse. you cant sue jc whitny if your dead.
im with bryant on this for sure, definately worth the extra money to go to napa and get good pads. i wont even settle for kragen\oriley level brake pads...
Raybestos I don't know is any parts store sells them anymore.... i bought the last set at oreily years ago, and they haven't sold them ever again part number is SGD91M. you can buy them online though! http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php
Don't even get me started on Raybestos ................ I ordered all their top of the line parts - shoes, drums, wheel cylinders, ect ........ for the 1970 Grabber project .............. everything came and every part (except one lonely wheel cylinder) said MADE IN CHINA on it .............
after a Google search looks like their pads are the only thing made in the US http://www.google.com/search?client...q=raybestos+made+in+the+us&btnG=Google+Search everything else is made in china. I can pull mine off in couple of days to show pics...quality was great. My Buddie also has them on his Mustang(Granada brakes), and he's parting it out i think so i can also get pics of his.
