Went to three U-Pull-It yards today. The one was half off today and it had a `74-`75 4dr 6cyl Maverick with a perfect windshield.Well it was perfect until I started to pull the trim off from around the window and I barely touched it and a crack shot across the glass from one side to the other...stupid,stupid,stupid.........and I would have only had to pay $18 for it!!!!!!!!! Ahhh the only Maverick I find so far in a junkyard and I screw the glass up.I feel like crap now.I was able to grab the hood hinges though. The car was pretty rotted, and most of the good parts were already gone. Some other idiot broke the dashboard to pieces for no apparent reason and broke out the back window.Oh well, still in search of a good windshield!!!

I did however find a nice Eclipse rear seat there for like $10,then at the next yard I found the matching Front seats for $66.

The car that I got the hinges off had a green interior....but had a black vinyl front bench out of a 2-door in it (split seat back),and the seat was actually pretty nice, but not really into bench seats in these cars unless it had the matching rear one!

I did find a wrecked Toyota Paseo with these really kool looking black tweed front seats that were in really nice condition. But the car was hit really hard in the front and from the looks of the bloodstains in the driver seat I thought long and hard on them and ended up passing on `em,they may have been bad luck.Even though the stains would have come right out with a good cleaning.

    Oh,got a nice sunburned neck,nose,and forehead too!
