Just bought a maverick sprint 1972 2 door- dont believe they made a 4 door sprint. Got it on flea bay for $700. Looks pretty good. Underside has some rust but doesnt look like theres much if any rust through there. Rear quarters look to have some rot on bottom. rest of body looks great though. in line 6 200 runs and drives. tires need replacing. interior looks good but needs work. What do you guys think? did i get a deal? will try to get pics up soon! heres the listing off ebay

Not a bad deal for 700.00 Do alot of pokeing and prodding of the metal once its in your posession so you know what your dealing with. Pour some water in the cowl too to see if they leak...
    Oh!!! Welcome to the board!!!

Did you actually SEE the car before you bought it....or are you just going off the pictures?

Since you asked....looks to me that the car is full of bondo. I know a little history on the car...and a previous owner painted it the wrong colors. Several Sprints on here...so you can see what it is suposed to look like.
