    Bought a 73 4 door Comet tonight. 67,000 miles. Saved it from a painfull death. The owner bought it for a V8 swap into a two door. He got waht he needed then was going to scap it as a unit if no one bought it.

    THE GOOD::bananaman
    Really clean doors,hood and under body.
    Factory V8
    Delux gas cap
    straight hood trim
    decient wheel well trim
    grill is decient but one tab is missing
    THE BAD::yikes:
    Quarters need a little help but not hateful.
    They cut out the inner fender and battery tray.
    No steering box, but they left the ram and pump
    rust on top of one fender.
    no front valance
    no rad

    Got it for $150.(y) Not sure of it's fate just yet, I'm going to pick it up this weekend. My 73 Mav needs the doors and fender. May part out the rest. I'll post some pics when I get it home. Going to need a bigger driveway real soon.;)

    Here she is. I've sold the rear axle, and I'm keeping the doors to put on my freebie Mav. Deluxe gas cap. It had a V8 but it was pulled before I got it. I got the V8 frame mounts, accelerator cable, under motor brace, and I'm going to pull the front springs. It has the trim around the wheel wells. They have are eating away some where they mount but the outside edges look real good. It has the trim along the tops of the fenders along with one on the rockers. NOt sure aobut trim levels of 4 door Comets. I'll post most of this stuff in the for sale section as soon as I figure out some prices.

    What would you want for the hood emblem? Is it in good shape?
