I found a little junk yard that ive always seen closed. Well yesterday it was open so neither me or my wife could stop me going in and what do you know a little red 70 grabber. So long story short i got near perfect (small dent on the crome peice) hood $60 and fenders for $45 and i was a week away from paying 400 for a hood lol:bananaman :drink:

Sounds Like A Great Deal. And If It Was A Greabber, Did U Check For A Real Spoiler, Buckets And Sport Mirrors? Nice Score Though!

    Sounds like a great deal!

BTW: if you are ever considering buying a hood for $400 again, please post on here first. $400 is a total rip off for a standard flat hood.

ya... thats definately WRONG! haha, i have bought 2 rust free maverick hoods in CA... and combined there were about 125$

Also, did you say that the car DID have the sport mirrors? If it does... you should grab them, and i wll pay you for the cost of the mirrors, and whatever shipping costs would be!

I have posted on here more than once and have yet to come up with a hood. Most don't want to have to ship them.:(
And by the time you pay for the hood and shipping they have came to a couple of hundred dollars or in some cases more.
Have had a couple of good prices if I drive to pick them up, but with the price of gas......... still high.
Sorry to hi jack your post.
Glad you found a good deal:clap:
