My one neighbor is a truck driver who works for a company headquartered in Iowa. He does a lot of long hauls and he's always looking for interesting cars parked wherever he sees them. We were talking last night and he told me that he saw a whole string of Mavericks parked in a field somewhere outside of Dodge City. He said they must have been there for a while judging from how high the weeds had grown around them. They were all yellow except for one blue one. He dosen't remember any buildings being around the cars, just that they were sitting in a field all by themselves. I don't remember what highway he was on when he saw them. I thought I'd pass that on to anyone who might be from around that area in case you'd want to check them out.
I've never been there. I'm guessing it's chock full of farmland? I wish he could have told me more but after 2 weeks on the road it all starts to look the same to him.
