So I ordered some Lakewood 90/10s for better weight transfer and they work terribly haven't used them on a prepped track but I'm running 2 tenths slower than with old crappy KYB shocks that are wore out XD. Want best weight transfer so I can hook up even on no prep days. My car dynoed at 272rwhp lol and 280 ftlbs of tq weighs 2935lbs with me in it. Running only 4.11 rear end gear and have hooked on 255/60/15 but 4000 stall its a bit harder to hook lol. fastest 60 is 1.77
Drag radials or stock tires. how much air you got in them. I run stock shocks up front makes it easer to keep on the ground.
Calvert's front 90/10's are the loosest I've seen. I just had to take them off my Cougar because it kept going up on the rear bumper. They have a very loose extension with a hard compression for coming down off the wheel stands. http://www.calvertracing.com/cf-series-9010-shocks.html
mickey Thompson et street radial 16-18 psi cals on the lower hole and no preload for more weight transfer
Your setup sounds right it should stick like glue. I used to keep 13-15 in my old car. You might want to try resetting everything to make sure it's loose and not binding. I would also try adding a little preload you don't want to much weight transfer. The car should not be squatting on launch if any thing it should be lifting slightly as it plants the rear tires.
I have the Lakewood 90/10s, no sway bar, stock front end (with travel limiters) and they do the job good. What does the rest of the suspension consist of?
Sounds like the rear suspension is not doing its job! If the rear is not planting the tires the front won't work properly!
