    Hey guys,
Sorry its been so long but I need some help. We shot photos of a Grabber Blue Maverick that the owner had modded into a Shelby (has a 68 Shelby hood) and due to my wonderful filing system, I cannot find the owner info sheet. Here is what I have:

Car is from Mississippi (or was when I shot it two years ago at Silver Springs).

    Has Shelby 1968 hood

    Has 1968 Shelby taillights

    Has LeMans stripes.

Pretty sure he is a member of the forums

Any help will be greatly appreciated.:thumbs2:

    Jeff,

I was just getting ready to send the same info. Thanks for the great article on the Sprints. You did a wonderful job.

Ray has a great car and richly deserves the attention.

I think the majority, if not everyone on this site are all in agreement that Ray's "Shelbyized" Maverick is loooong overdue for some real media attention.

I personally think it should be featured in every Ford magazine being published today and I have yet to get to see the car in person.

Go Ray.. Go Ray... Go Ray....

I also wanted to Say that I think it is great that Legendary Ford is giving our Mavericks some long needed attention. Thanks for showing interest in our Mavericks

Thanks guys, I appreciate your input, I've got a message in to Ray now. It will probably be in the July August issue.

In doing some prelem work I rediscovered the Shelby De Mexico Mavericks. Does anyone on here have an idea where an actual car might be in the States? I'd like to do a story on these neat rides.

Also, thanks for all your support of our little magazine during these tough times. LFM is grateful for any support that the Maverick guys want to provide(y). Without you, we're sunk.

There has never been one found. allegedly 400 of the conversions were made in Mexico.

On my 3 trips down there i've never seen one, but many of the maverick down there do have the shelby dealer add odds like the hood scoop, hood mouted tach, and a rear spoiler that is bigger than the US version.

Makes me wonder if the cars never saw the light of day. It would seem that someone down there would have realized what they had and kept it. Well, I guess more digging is required.

And Ray's car is an Alabama Maverick now, we got him to move outta Mississippi to a safer place! Actually, it was a hurricane that finally convinced him to move inland a bit further! And we're glad he made the move over here with us!

Jeff, You're going to publish just pictures of the car, right? Only the car? Just the car? None of these owner with the car shots, right? :D
