Hello, first of all- The throttle cable is hitting the levers of the carb. making it bind. How can I fix that. An second. I have a cable kickdown from Lokar for my 250 six/C4 set up but I'm not sure to install it. Could you guys offer me any help?? Jason
Never had a six myself, but if it was like swapping the 351W with an Edelbrock manifold into mine, I had to bend the bracket that serves as the anchor point on the manifold to get the throttle cable to line up. V8s have a stamped metal bracket, and it can be tweaked with a large set of pliers if needed. If that is the solution, make sure that nothing binds (you do NOT want a stuck throttle), that the spring closes it properly, and that it opens the carb through it's entire range. Have a helper pressing on the gas pedal while you observe how it is working. I am sure that someone with some six experience will chime in with better details.
