lokar universal throttle cable

    has anyone used the lokar throttle cable on thier maverick and did it work well for you?i have a 70 grabber doing the v-8 swap and the throttle is a litte different than 71-up so i thought the lokar throttle would be a nice clean set-up .Let me know who ahs done this thanx alot

    did u purchase the 24" cable? and did u have to do any cutting to fit? is ur car a 70?

    i have one on mine. i think its the 24". i ended up puting a loop in it. i want to be able to use it if i switch to fule injection and the throttle body is in a different location. you will need to get a throttle return spring also with that cable.

    I have one in my 70. Yes, you should cut it to length.

    I bought the universal one, and cut it to fit. The only thing that I did do, was take the factory retainer off the brake pedal end of the factory cable, and use it on the Lokar.
