too much wheel well gap with both. needs a taller tire or the car lowered a lot. i personally like 17s over 15s in general but in this case the bigger side wall of the 15 blends with the wheel well gap better.
The 245/45's definitely look too small with the car that high, but they will tuck up nice and tight into the wheel well, if you're going for that look. Considering the diameter of both tires, is pretty close.
Actually it comes down to which ones you prefer. Its your car... I think both are too small given the cars stance.
Ditto, those are much too wide on a 7" wheel. They're better suited to 10's, which is what I'm running on mine (15 x10 shod with 295/50's) The 17's need a taller/wider tire and those brake drums painted black.
17s in rear..15s in front!! haha no way..i personally like the 15s..keeps that old school look to the car but the 17's dont look bad either but i have to agree with some, with the 17s it looks like theres a lot of empty well space.
Completely agree. I bet if you check the recommended minimum wheel width is 8 to 9 inches and recommended is a 10" wheel.
Man I so need a set of those Torque Thrust on the bottom pic... Those have my vote if the car was lower, but where it sits now I like the 15's
I like sidewall on the old cars. Case closed. Unless its a resto mod style and low. Dont care for that style myself though.
The 17's are fine if the you lower the car to reduce the "gap" between the top of the tires and the wheel arches.
Thanks for the replies. I know 7" is quite little, but it doesn´t look bad, and fit perfectly on the car. So, I need to lower the car. Whit the 15" it looks like muscle car, and the 17" looks so nice . I love both.
