I have a 65 with factory power steering, the box is blown and everything leaks p/s fluid so I just want to swap it out with a manual steering box from Borgeson. Do power steering boxes and manual steering boxes have the same number of splines on the shaft? I realize I'll have to do a little more than just swap the boxes, I just need to know if it'll even work with my column.

As long as it is the 1" sector shaft. '64 V8's had 1-1/8" sector. '65 went back to the 1". All 6 cylinder cars, no matter what year got the 1"

Try to get the lowest turns lock to lock, box you can.
