Well its been a while since I have been on here, but I am glad to be back. Car is getting closer to being done. I need some advise on switching this manual tranny to a auto. Thinking about a c4. Question I have are; What years trannys will go into it with out a lot of hassle? What all do I need as far as parts? And does any one know of a shop here in the Phx area that can do it? I also wanted to thank ShadowMaster for some really good advice on a cam. This thing rocks now!!!!
from scratch...I would look for one from any 302 car. you will need: a trans cooler or auto. Radiator cooler lines kick down rod torque converter w/bolts block plate flywheel w/bolts floor shifter vac. line ...not sure if starter, trans mount and drive shaft are the same...
