OK after reading all the past topics on the Mustang tank install, and the problems everyone has with fuel sending interchanges. I'm thinking about going the Mustang tank route. Only problem is I don't weld.

Is this mod doable without the welding? I can get the brackets made if I need to but can't get the car to the welder. I'm assuming I could do bolt in brackets if needed?

    Any reason this wouldn't work?

i think the tricky spot is the rear pass side bolt retaining slot. should be a way to fake it, tho. the forward pass side slot i braced internally with a piece of 1" square tubing & i remember thinking at the time that i probably didnt need to weld it in place.
