Maverick Dyno Day Meet and Eat March 11th

Sunday March 11th in Goodyear Az. 560 N. Bullard ave

We need 10 confirmed dyno runs to cover the dyno rental. Im thinking each person gets 1 to 3 runs for their $35. in between those runs you can make quick carb or timing adjustments. Too keep it moving though it needs to be simple adjustments, no pulling carbs for jet changes. After those 3 runs you can do your major adjustments and wait for the rest of the guys to run and as time permits we can go back through and run a car again. Depending on time we may be able to run other cars that did not reserve a spot ahead of time.

All others not interested in a dyno run are invited to come hang out and how off their car. Should be plenty of parking. And the weather should be perfect. But since this is a Desert Maverick Meet I expect rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes, and an earthquake. But the dyno is inside so we are doing this no matter what.

Find a place with a dyno, and ask them about setting up a club day. usually they will give pretty good discounts. they can charge per car, or per run or whatever deal you work out. Preferably a place with a decent sized parking lot to hang out in and B.S. And can bring a grill for burgers and dogs. then watch the cars on the dyno, make fun of each other or high fives or whatever. get advice from people about what to do and adjust and see what happens. then smack the ones that advised you to lose HP.

    Sound about right?

Frank would you not be able to attend Sunday april 1st or Sunday April 7th? Im trying to narrow down a day. Or would a months notice not be enough and you would come for sure another time?

Gathering is already scheduled this year, correct? Maybe Don can setup the Gathering next year right in his own back yard, literally, i hear he has alot of room. Then on a Saturday night we can go invade the Scottsdale Pavillions car show, its the biggest longest running weekly car show in the nation from what Ive heard. Maybe we can check it out when you come out Frank.

Set the date, hope you guys can make it March 11th.

Anybody else making a road trip or coming from intown that hasnt requested a spot on the reserved dyno time list? Frank and Mo I got you down on the reserved list of 10, have 3 more openings for reserved dyno run. After that we can run others as we have time.

Runs are $35 for up to 3 pulls with quick tuning in between, timing, simple carb adjustments etc. Only simple tunes in between your 3 runs to keep time down. Major changes can be made after your reserved time on the dyno and can get back on later as time allows after all that want to make their first run have finished.

So who wants a Spot on the dyno run list?

    Ryan
    Gene
    RobbieG
    Mashori
71Gold (says he wants to come to saving a spot)
    Tony (you better bring it)
    Ryan's Brother (65 falcon)
    Joe 2mav4u

    Anybody else?

Now for food and beverage. I think its easiest for everybody to bring their own beverages. If somebody is coming with a truck we could use a grill brought over. we will need volunteers for burgers, dogs, buns, condiments, plates, napkins. I have no idea on a head count yet, i'd say atleast 20 people.

Yes. Need supplies and cook. Its just burgers and dogs. not like somebody will be stuck at the grill all day. I see this lasting 5 hours or so easy so plenty of time to B.S. and cook. My wife will not be there, dont know about others. But grilling up some food wont take long and not be cooking all day.
