so what Emblem do you guys think is the most commonly used factory wise?

    the Emblem that says Maverick?

    Grill
    Fenders
    C Piller
Trunk? or were they on the trunk i can't remember... lol!

    and....

What emblem did you keep on your maverick. poll is above for this one.

reason why i ask is i have a line on making billet products now.

i am starting to make these for the Pontiac guys now.... yeah yeah i know.

if you're on facebook check this one video out here. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=240257206056924&set=vb.170874572962697&type=2&theater

so..... before you think i am neglecting mavericks...lol! l i though i would get your guys thoughts on this one. what would price be? hell it might way out of the price range but i don't know until i get the quote. will it happen i don't know but again just something i do have a line on.

nice one there. but i would want to do the work "maverick" since most of ours look like crap... well unless you re-chromed them like mine but even then they still are pot metal.

i personally enjoy having none of the maverick lettered emblems on my car. i love the question what type of is that.
with that said i do feel there is a market for some nice billet maverick replacement emblems. now that ive got a comet that im building, i see the comet emblem and thats an ugly emblem. i would not be surprised if the comet guys would like an updated emblem.

Id be interested in a set or two. Depending on price. Do you have a ball park? Or a range?

Yep. It looks like the side ones were a bit larger and cast flat. On the grille and spoiler, slightly smaller and thicker at the bottom than the top.

i don't know until i have the guy look at them and get an idea on the CAD. i would say about at least 80-90 each do you guys think that is out of range?

yeah for sure all the grill and sides are different.

are c pillar and fenders the same part number?

i know the 73,74 and 75s i had all the c pillars were the same and they also had two prongs/studs on the back side that push in to the body. most of the time you pull those off the prong/stud get stuck in the holes. :(

My c pillar script is 3 pronged. I removed them and welded the holes. I dont want any emblems on my mav. If someone comes up to me and knows My car is a Mav on site, I will take that person to lunch. If they are not a member here, sorry guys no free lunch.

only installed my fender ones. I have a perfect trunk one that came off the car, but havent put it back on. I do like the fender emblems. We thought about welding the holes but that emblem is a big part of the cars look for myself. I mean its even on the little die cast toys.

All Maverick fender and c-pillar emblems are the same...all years. The trunk emblem and the grill emblem (the word MAVERICK) are all exactly the same. When making the grill emblem, Ford stuck a trunk emblem onto the orange mounting.

What about the dashboard emblem, was that ever used anywhere else on the car?

No, but I have seen them put on the inside of the doors by people and a belt buckle
