Was there a grill emblem that they used for 1975 mavericks? I noticed my maverick doesn't have one on the front grill and I saw several with what looks to be a side emblem on the grill and I know the earlier ones had circular shaped grills. Does the 1975 Maverick have a grill emblem?
grill emblem I dont think the word Maverick appered on the grill for 1975. My Aunt bought a new 75 Maverick and I remember it wasent there. She had parked behind my 74 Grabber and we were comparing cars. There was just the FORD letters on the hood and trunk with the word Maverick in the gas cap. Mine has the bull horns in the gas cap. Different assembly plants operate differently, one may have used the grill word for a while or at least till the 74 stock was gone, or the grill/emblem was a seperate subassembly used untill they were gone. P.S. My Aunt liked my 74 Grabber enough to buy a 75 Maverick 2door 6/automatic. She worked for Chrysler! We just talked about our cars at a family party 3weeks ago. Shes a little upset that I still have one and she dosen,t. She drove her car everyday for 7 years. I guess I will take her for a ride in mine soon. Joe
