There is a Maverick in the Mustangs & Fords August 2006 issue. It is all the way on the back page, but it's there.

It belongs to a guy named Troy Anthony from Cherryville, NC IIRC.

Yep, it seems like we get at least one in every issue for about a year now. (y)

It's always interesting to see Mavs in the news, so to speak. It shocked the crap out of me when I was reading a classic Ford book in Borders and they mentioned MaverickMan. Can't for the life of me remember what book it was, but they listed he sold carbon fiber hoods and spoilers so I'm sure it's the same one from here.

Many people pooh-pooh our cars, but I've been noticing that Mavs actually are getting quite a bit of attention lately. Well...okay so I'm kinda new to them :) but I've noticed them a lot more lately in books and mags I've read about classics. They're not in the forefront like Mustangs etc, and probably never will be, but they're definitely not a blip on the radar any longer.

Only problem is, with popularity comes price.

I've actually noticed quite a few people on this board, myself included, who are a bit younger than the cars they own. :)

    Oh, surely not! ;)
