Maverick VS Comet Street Race!

    yesterday me and my friend raced our cars down a straight away through an old industrial complex. He has the white 1976 comet 4dr with a 250/c4 and I had my '76 Maverick 250/c4. I beat him by about a car length, but he did have a pretty bad miss and about 200lbs of tool boxes in the trunk. I came over to change his alternator and we just had to do it.:D Enjoy the carnage! just wish i got better shots.

    Imagine going to a Round-Up though when we got 25 Mavericks and Comets racing all night long on a real race track. :cool: And some of them were 6bangers too.

    he's still running the a/c compressor and smog pump on that one too, along with the p/s. A previous owner of my car was kind enough to remove all the smog crap, i just assumed it was never there. next time we should go drifting with our import engines:biglaugh:
