My new vehicle came with 3 months of XM radio, so I have been listening to the Comedy USA channel. This week I have heard two songs that have mentioned the Maverick.

The first was called "SUV" but I don't remember the artist. He is commenting about all the Soccer moms and thier SUVs and he still loves his old beat up Maverick. (paraphrased)

The second is called Makin' Out by Mad Magazine - 1978 I think. (its PG rated) The second verse is about the lack of room in the front seat of a Maverick.

Any other songs you guys know?

A rap/hip hop song by E-40 called "Yee" talks about Mavericks: "You can catch me in the traffic in the Cutlass or the Maverick Hollerin' Yeeee! (Yeeee)" Definitely not PG rated. Lots of language in the song.
